MOONG
DAL SALAD(GREEN LENTIL SALAD)

INGREDIENT
:
Moong-dal
- 200 gm.(greengram)
Raw papaya - 100
gm.
(or cucumber)
Coriander leaves
- 400 gm.
Green Chillies -15gm.(chopped)
Sugar - 4 gm.
Lime juice, salt and pepper
to taste. |
Method
:
Soak dal in
water for one hour. Scrape papaya (or cucumber)
after peeling.
Remove dal from water and mix all ingredients.
Add papaya and toss lightly.
Serve as an accompaniment to the main dish.
Time taken -- 2 1/2 hrs.
