The audience and the industry had a lot of expectations from this movie, considering the hard work put in by the entire team especially Anupam Kher. Unfortunately, the movie is not such an exciting affair, as one had expected. In fact, this seems to be the pattern with a majority of the movies that get hyped up before their release.

The first half of the movie is extremely boring; it's only in the second half that the pace picks up, but by then, things get too predictable, and you are already yawning. If there is any bright side to the movie, it's the vintage Waheeda Rahman. The movie entirely belongs to her. Her performance is superlative.

Om Jai Jagdish (OJJ) is a story of three brothers, as one could easily guess from the promos. Om (Anil Kapoor), a brilliant and creative guy, works for a leading music company. He is married to Ayesha (Mahima Chaudhary), a VJ with MTV. He has done his best to bring up his two younger brothers, and provide them with all comforts of life. Om has a knack of spotting new talents, and has introduced some talented artists, picking them up from nowhere, and making them famous.
